Vintage Scouting Memorabilia On eBay
For whatever reason the next two months are going to be very busy for TORs. In January and February I could attend as many as 3 shows and drive thousands of miles in total to get there and back. Honestly in person shows are not what moves the needle in my business as I'm so plugged in online. But I do enjoy seeing fellows collectors and talking about the hobby we are all so passionate about.
For my Charlotte Trade-O-Ree I am pleased to share we are bringing back silent auctions. One of my employees has agreed to organize and run them during the event. After the holiday I am going to reach out to collectors in my area that might could help with promoting the show.
A week from today I'll be in Orlando attending the Citrus Bowl with my friend Collin. It's been a while since the Gamecocks had anything to crow about so we hope to finish the season strong.
On eBay I have 47 auctions running this week including CPs, merit badges and OA conclaves. As I am about to come to the end of 2024 the eBay store is sitting at 86k items which is where it's been for many many months. We have managed to list a lot and sell just as many (not always the same items!) so it's just stayed about the same size.
Like many of you we have family in for the holidays. Last night I picked up my Sister-In-Law and her daughter at the airport. By lunch time my MIL will join us and we will have a full house for Christmas. I hope you have an awesome holiday season with your family and friends.
