Vintage eBay Scout Auctions This Weekend

By now many of you have heard the news that it was announced this week the next National Jamboree is scheduled for the summer of 2026. The obvious question is what happens to NOAC. I'm sure that just like the BSA didn't want to have the WSJ and our NJ on the same page of the calendar it will be true for NOAC. Luckily after the pandemic I think the 2022 event in TN was strong and there seems to be a packed house for CO this summer.

I have signed up to attend NOAC with my lodge. We are flying out just before the event so I will be a no show for the TOR. It would take multiple days to drive to the Rocky Mountains from the Carolinas so that's just not in the cards for me. But I'll pack my trading bag and have fun doing some 1:1 trading as I have for going on three decades at the big national events. When will the following NOAC be scheduled? I haven't a clue but my guess would be 2027. I really would love to go to the WSJ in Poland that summer but we will see.

Saturday I'm driving to Camp Coker to attend a lunch event to hear about plans to revitalize the camp. We are blessed that the camp was put into a private trust prior to bankruptcy and has survived along with a council merger. But the old girl needs some work and with a generous 7 figure donation I want to see what the plans are for the future.
