As the summer time can put many of you on the road today I want to shout out what I hope is a destination for patch collectors. It's always rated as one of the Top 10 places to shop in Charlotte with over 200 vendor booths. Mine is 100% Scout stuff and it's on the back wall.

One of the unusual things in my booth is two giant tubs of dollar patches. Since TORs only happen sparingly in the summer I went ahead and took my bins to the booth to see what I could do. The booth also features framed artwork, uniforms, books, mugs, 3D items and other things that don't like to go in the mail.

I'll probably make a trip out there as early as Thursday. My son is a lifeguard at a local pool this summer and since I am his Uber driver it's not that far away.
