I've rented the Uhaul truck and have spoken to all the key people involved with helping to put on the Charlotte TOR. The signs are out at the church and we are ready to welcome all the visitors. Today I've got a coupon code offer in the Hot Finds for anyone that needs to order Best Hobby Pages. You can save on shipping and get your order boxed up and hand delivered using code PICKUP at checkout.
For days now I've been working through Rubbermaid totes getting items tagged for the silent auction. Yesterday I spoke to Chris Jensen on the phone. He reminded me that in the last 18 months we have only been to a couple of TORs and he was forced to cancel his 2020 show as well. So like Chris I have lots of odd ball items that I am going to blow out in the silent auction.
A couple of TORs coming up have been cancelled. The Atlanta and Buckeye shows have been cancelled/postponed. I believe ATL is looking for a date in the spring. I have updated my TOR calendar with those updates.
I have 136 live auctions on eBay this week. Most of my effort has been on TOR sorting but I have scheduled auctions out for the rest of the month. When the show is over I'll really focus my efforts on getting some new stuff in the store.
At the TOR I am hoping to film a time lapse video of the action. I've done this a few times and it's cool to see the action ebb and flow as people come in and set up. I don't know that I'll have time to do anything fun like a Facebook live but who knows!
