This Weekend Is Loaded With Auctions

I listen to a lot of eBay YouTube and many sellers have complained that the tensions of the election cycle seemed to be suppressing sales. I don't really have any empirical evidence to back that up other than my last 30 day sales are down 25% from the prior term. But hopefully things will get back to normal as we steam towards the holidays.

Order of the Arrow Auctions Up For Bids

There are plenty of great auctions running this weekend so that should give the Boy Scout category a jolt. I've bookmarked dozens of really good listings that I am following here in the Hot Finds.

This time of year is also heavy with TORs so that seems to put some energy into the hobby. I just saw pictures online of what looked like a successful Cincinnati show. There are 5 more shows on my TOR calendar to close out the year.

I have 137 auctions running on eBay including some great camp patches, World Jamboree and more. I've also started a new broad sale on over 18K items that has a little for everyone.

I have plans to attend the NCAC TOR assuming I can get some tables off the waiting list. I'll know in the next two weeks if my own Charlotte TOR will get on the church calendar for April 4-5, 2025. I did want to let people know that for a brief time there was a show planned in my hometown of Sumter, SC in November but those plans have been postponed. This one was being organized by a local troop with many patch collectors coming from that unit.
