Vintage eBay Scout Auctions This Weekend
As soon as i hit the publish button on today's Hot Finds I am wheels up to the VA Beach TOR. I made the joke this week that in going to this show I have actually never seen the beach. Jokes on me as they got some snow mid-week so instead I will surely see some of the white stuff.
I had another visitor in the warehouse this week and this one is an old friend that some of you would remember. Back in the 1990s Julian Fowler was real active in the hobby. We called him the Axeman as his eBay handle was JBFaxeman and indeed he collected them. So about a year ago I got a really nice 1960s "Super Scout" axe in a collection and I held onto it thinking I should run it by Julian. When I eventually sent him pictures he wanted it as an upgrade to his. So he drove up and we had a nice visit. I was very happy to sell an axe to the Axeman for his collection.
On eBay I have 234 auctions running live. About 100 of those will close over the weekend so take a look as I try and post my best stuff to auction. In addition I am running at 22% off sale on 16,000+ CSPs and SAPs in my eBay store. This sale ends Sunday as well so take a look.
All this week Suki the kitten has been hanging out at the warehouse. On the advice of my Vet after she got all her shots we wanted to keep her under quarantine. But her week is up and so when I get home from the TOR I am going to scoop her up and take her home. She is still very timid but loves to be petted so I think she has good potential to give up her feral ways and become a house cat. But if that doesn't work out she can always come back and be our warehouse cat.
