Yesterday I batch filmed 4 unboxing videos so that I can have some new content to share during the summer when I am away at camp. Thankfully through the support of my Patrons who have joined the Scouting Hot Finds Insiders I've been able to hire an audio and video editor to help me keep putting out great content.
I got a killer need in the mail this week. No this one did not come in a collection but rather I bit the bullet and outbid two different guys for the Miwok #304 that Jeff Feldman was selling. I've got my name/number flaps list down to less than a dozen needs. This Miwok is the only one I didn't have a lead on. So since the pandemic has been good for patch sales I jumped on the chance to pick it up and now it's one of the handful of patches that I've paid several thousand dollars to acquire.
I have 270 auctions running on eBay with over 100 of those vintage OA pieces that are ending Sunday. The other ones are a mixture of conclave and activity patches. I try to mix it up to keep things interesting.
This weekend I'm headed to Camp Barstow to attend our staff work weekend. It's been a long time since our camp staff has come together in person. We have a lot of work to do but we are ready to get camp set up.
