 Area Boy Scouts will collect food donations in the community on Saturday, Nov. 11.The Scouts will place fliers on doors earlier in the week to let you know when they will be in your area. Suggested donation items include canned fruits and vegetables, canned tuna, peanut butter, boxed pasta, grains and cereals. Leave donated items out for pick up Saturday morning, Nov. 11, or take your donation to area Rosauers stores. Thank you for donating!
End of Season Apple Glean
Nov. 4

Second Harvest and Spokane Edible Tree Project  will be partnering together to host the end-of-season glean in Green Bluff on Saturday, November 4th. Thanks to the generous support of  Walter's Fruit Ranch and Hidden Acres Orchard we will be able to help save thousands of  pounds of apples after the close of the U-Pick season, and get them to low-income people in our region.  Groups and families welcome! Please RSVP here to volunteer.
Tom's Turkey Drive
Nov 17-18 

Tom's Turkey Drive raises funds to provide 11,000 local families in need with a complete Thanksgiving dinner. A $20 donation is transformed into a turkey and all the fixings to feed a family of four, including fresh rolls, croutons, potatoes, and a half gallon of milk.  Donate online today. The first $5000 in donations will be matched by Numerica Credit Union, doubling the impact of your gift! Plan to stop by area Rosauers stores Nov 17-18 to donate in store.

Volunteers Needed for 
Tom's Turkey Drive

We are looking for volunteers for Tom's Turkey Drive on  Nov. 17 and 18 at area Rosauers stores. Volunteers will hand out flyers to promote the drive and collect donations.  These shifts have been filling very quickly so don't miss out. This is a great opportunity for groups or individuals to give back this holiday season! Volunteers also needed for Turkey Tuesday, Nov 21.  Sign up to volunteer here.
Starbucks Fundraiser for Tom's Turkey Drive  
Nov. 14

Treat yourself to an extra coffee on Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 2 pm to 4 pm and help bring Thanksgiving meals to local families in need! Visit any company-owned Starbucks store (a freestanding location) in Spokane and North Idaho. All proceeds from handcrafted beverage sales sold from 2 pm to 4 pm on Nov. 14 will benefit Tom's Turkey Drive. 
Winter Food Drive

Winter can be a really tough time for our neighbors in need. Dropping temperatures mean higher heat bills and that leaves less money for food and other basic needs. You can help Stock the Shelves by holding a food or fund drive or an online fundraiser. Your generous donations will help supply our core network of emergency food outlets that feed thousands of people each week. Find out more here.
