The Screening & Streaming of "An Existential Date"

Now with the COVID restrictions being relaxed as the result of the mass vaccinations, the performing arts will also come alive again as performance venues open up. Timing could not have been better for the release of my first psychotronic movie, “An Existential Date”.
To continue on with last month’s newsletter, “An Existential Date,” is a comedy with added gallows humor to highlight our at times perplexing human condition as we strive to find our essence of life amidst are existence, always aware we should live with the thought, time is of the essence, and not to be taken for granted. I wrote and produced this movie in the belief that comedy is universal and can bring some unity to our divided times. And, support the notion that philosophy and laughter is good medicine for the soul.
The movie, written as a comedy, also has an underlying theme that romance is not limited to our youth, and removes the myth that sensuality ends in middle age. And, hopefully, the movie will remove some taboos, and to promote healthy relationships and dating during middle age- romance does not come with an expiration date, only life does, so this movie promotes finding your essence free of any thoughts of ageism.
The movie will also illustrate how compatibility is so important in relationships, and to break another taboo that professors are stuffy and inhibited. Well, rumor has it, existential talk is quite seductive as well as being the ultimate aphrodisiac, and professors are closet party animals as the movie will reveal.

An Existential Date” was shot on location at The Wolf and Warrior Brewing Company. The cast consists of Rob Ansbro, playing the part of Camu; Donna L. White as Neisky, Michelle Osojnak as the waitress. Musical score was written and performed by our Musical Director, Drew Caico,
Digital graphics and editing by Eric Scholz, casting by Susan Bond, and cinematographer and co-direction by Chris Caseburi.
