This bronze original is by Frederick's own Sarah Hempel Irani. You're invited to wander the courtyard and discover a spectacular collection of over a dozen sculptures by regional artists!

THE FREDERICK ART CLUB

The Frederick Art Club was founded in Frederick, Md., in August 1897. Initially a small league of women art students, it has evolved into a Frederick institution that now has more than 100 members. Our long-standing mission is to teach and practice art, enlighten members, and generate an appreciation of the value and beauty of art in the broader community.

In fall 2022, the Club announced plans to celebrate its 125th anniversary by growing the art scholarship fund to the fitting sum of $125,000.
