Dear Sea King Families,
I hope everyone is enjoying the much-deserved weekend. This week, PVHS will host our Back to School Night on campus beginning at 6 pm with zero period. The full schedule is below, as well as a link to the campus map. Please be sure to ask your students for their class schedules, including room numbers.
I encourage all of our families to join us on Thursday evening and take advantage of the opportunity to walk in your student's shoes as you move from class to class. While this evening is not set up for one on one time with teachers, it is a chance to get an overview of your student's classes, understand class expectations, and put a "face with a name". Our PTSA and Booster Club will also have tables in our main hallway. Stop by and say hi and if you have not already, take the opportunity to join these pivotal parent groups. Finally, don't forget this Friday has dismissal at 12:30 pm. The minimum day bell schedule is below.
Have a great week everyone! And I hope to see our Sea King parents and guardians on Thursday night!
Sincerely,
Dr. Trista Ramirez
Proud PVHS Principal

Los Angeles County Superintendent of Schools Debra Duardo is inviting students to apply for the 2022-23 Superintendent Student Advisory Council. The Superintendent Student Advisory Council was formed to bring students' views into conversations and decision-making about public education. Students are currently being recruited to apply to serve on the advisory council. The group will meet virtually on a quarterly basis beginning Fall 2022 from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
Interested students will need to complete an application. They will also be required to submit a parent legal/guardian consent form to participate.
