Labor Day Hours for the Sea Pines CSA Admin Office, Maintenance Office, ARB & Sea Pines Community Center

• Friday, September 1: Closing at 2:00 PM
• Monday, September 4 : Closed

The Sea Pines CSA Gate Pass Office and Sea Pines Security Department will remain under normal operating hours.

Due to clean-up efforts following Tropical Storm Idalia, Commercial work will be permitted in Sea Pines on:

• Sunday, September 3, 2023 from 10 AM - 5 PM
• Monday (Labor Day), September 4, 2023 from 9 AM - 5 PM

The hour restrictions do not apply to pool companies, housekeeping, and deliveries to commercial entities. For emergency access for service providers outside of these hours, please contact Sea Pines Security Dispatch at 843.671.7170.

Sea Pines CSA Annual Rental Registration Program Update

Sea Pines CSA Annual Rental Registration Fee Due Tomorrow, September 1, 2023

The 2023 Annual Rental Registration Fee was invoiced on August 1, 2023, to Sea Pines Residential Property Owners who have their property registered with our Rental Registration Program, or their property is advertised on the internet as being available for rental purposes.

On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, invoices were sent to the primary email address on record with Sea Pines CSA and mailed to those property owners who do not have a primary email address on file. Full payment of this fee is due by Friday, September 1, 2023.

Sea Pines CSA Teams are in Full Storm Recovery and Restoration Mode Following Tropical Storm Idalia

Sea Pines CSA crews and contracted service providers are working throughout the community to facilitate storm clean-up efforts, which will continue through the weekend. Our teams are in the process of addressing and prioritizing safety concerns for our roads, Sea Pines CSA-managed open spaces (approximately 1,200 acres), leisure trails, and beachwalks related to storm damages and debris.

We appreciate your patience as we continue to work as safely and quickly as possible to address this clean-up recovery effort.

Due to Tropical Storm Idalia, the start of the Capital Projects listed below have been delayed. Timing on when work will resume in these locations are based on storm clean up and recovery efforts.

• South Sea Pines Drive Infrastructure Improvement Project
• New Greenwood Drive Leisure Trail Extension

Debris Piles and Debris Collection Reminders:

• Vegetative Storm Debris should be stacked at designated Sea Pines CSA roadside debris pickup sites. If the debris site is full, do not block roads, driveways, or create traffic visibility hazards. Do NOT place trash in debris pickup piles.

• DO NOT pile any storm debris in roadside ditches, block the pipe ends with debris in ditches, or stack on catch basins/inlets. Clear drainage ditches and catch basins play an important role in stormwater management and can help prevent road flooding in our community.

• Commercial landscapers are NOT permitted to dump landscaping debris in the neighborhood drop sites or roadside within Sea Pines. Landscape companies are directed to transport debris to the Debris Recycling Facility. Please note: This facility does not have the ability to process material in a diameter of 6 inches and above.

The Sea Pines Forest Preserve and Six Oaks Cemetery and Park will reopen tomorrow, Friday, September 1 following clean up and restoration efforts from Tropical Storm Idalia.

The Sea Pines Trolley Service and Beach Shuttle Service will make their last routes of the season on Monday, September 4th.

Town of Hilton Head Island Animal Beach Visiting Hours Reminder

Tuesday after Labor Day (9/5) thru September

• Dogs allowed on leash from 10 AM - 5 PM
• Dogs allowed under positive voice control or on leash from 5 PM - 10 AM

October thru March

• Dogs allowed anytime on leash or under positive voice control

Enforcement

The Beaufort County Sheriff's Department and Town code enforcement officers patrol the beach and enforce all beach regulations.

South Island Public Service District Potable Drinking Water Pipeline Upgrade Project

SIPSD, the utility company providing water and wastewater services in Sea Pines, has begun their major infrastructure upgrade and replacement project to their potable water drinking line from Dunnagans Alley to Baynard Park Road, inside of Sea Pines.

SIPSD has provided the following project update:

• SIPSD crews are working to connect new water line connections to residential properties along Plantation Drive. Please use caution while driving in this area.
• SIPSD's contractor will begin landscaping restoration (to include tree planting) and irrigation installation along Plantation Drive in early September.

A Message from The Sea Pines Resort: Gregg Russell Concert Schedule

Gregg Russell has been recovering from a medical procedure in early August and is doing well, but unfortunately will be unable to perform his regularly scheduled show in Harbour Town from Thursday, August 31 – Sunday, September 3. We apologize for any inconvenience.
