Reminder: 2026 Sea Pines CSA Annual Rental Registration Fee

The 2026 Annual Rental Registration Fee was invoiced on May 18, 2026, to Sea Pines Residential Property Owners registered with the Rental Registration Program, or those whose property is advertised online as being available for rent. Full payment of this fee was due June 30, 2026. We extend our sincere appreciation to all property owners who have made their payments on time.

On August 3, 2026, Rental Registration Fee Statements were sent to property owners who had an outstanding balance on their account. These statements were sent to the primary email address on record from csaassessmentbilling@csaseapines.com. In the case of property owners who do not have an email address on file, the statements were mailed via USPS.

To avoid potential additional late fees, interest charges, and suspension of passcode privileges, please promptly remit your payment. For billing questions, please contact Tracey McNeill at traceym@csaseapines.com. For more information about the Sea Pines CSA Annual Rental Registration Program, please click here.

Wildlife Safety Reminder: Baby Copperheads

The peak birthing season for copperhead snakes in South Carolina spans from mid-August through early October.

  • Young copperheads are 8 to 10 inches long and are born with both fangs and venom.
  • They have the same markings as adults, dark bands over a lighter background that look like a row of Hershey's Kisses, with a coppery tan head.
  • The young have bright yellow tail tips that they wiggle to attract prey such as frogs and lizards.
  • Copperheads give live birth, so there is no copperhead nest. The young disperse on their own soon after birth.

Safety Precautions:

  • Keep grass trimmed and clear brush, leaf piles, and firewood away from walkways, play areas, and the house.
  • Wear leather gloves when handling debris, logs, or rocks.
  • Wear closed shoes or boots and thick pants in grassy or wooded areas.
  • Never put your hands or feet where you cannot see.
  • Use a flashlight after dark and shine before you step.
  • Keep dogs leashed and out of tall grass and lagoon edges.
  • Never pick up or attempt to move a snake.

To report a wildlife concern, please contact Sea Pines Security at 843.671.7170.
