Maintenance Update
Greenwood Drive Reconstruction Project Update

Sea Pines CSA Debris Recycling Drop Off Location Re-opens
  • The Debris Recycling Drop Off location located in the Sea Pines Forest Preserve off of Greenwood Drive, which was temporarily closed due to Phase One of this project has reopened today (Wednesday, November 14th.)
  • The Lot #8, the temporary debris-off site is now closed.
  • Thank you to all of our owners who utilized the temporary drop off site, we appreciate your assistance.
Forest Preserve Parking Lot of off Greenwood Dr. Re-opens
The Forest Preserve parking lot that was temporarily closed due to Phase one construction from the Greenwood Drive Reconstruction project reopened today Nov. 14th. Additional paving is anticipated on the leisure trail in that area.
Roadway Striping To Occur in Phase One Project Area
The permanent line striping of Greenwood Drive has been scheduled for Monday, November 26, weather permitting. The installation is expected to take most of the day. Some traffic delays are to be expected; equipment will be on the roadway with flagmen present to help assist safe flow of traffic. Please drive with caution in this area.

Phase 2 of Greenwood Drive Reconstruction Project Deferred To a Future Date
Infrastructure repairs and improvements along Greenwood Drive from Governors Road to Plantation Drive have been deferred to a future date.

This phase will include:
  • Drainage and road improvements
  • Stabilizing the road bed
  • Reconstructing a portion of the leisure trail
  • Installing new pedestrian and vehicular guardrails
  • Installing a historic rice trunk

Sea Pines CSA will keep you updated on future dates for Phase 2 of the project as they are set.

Sea Pines Drive Timber Bridges Project Update
Phase Two
Sea Pines CSA Maintenance began phase two of the Sea Pines Timber Bridges project the week of November 5 th with working hours for CSA Contractors between 7:00AM and 6:00PM.

In Phase two, we are reconstructing the current pedestrian bridge that is located on Greenwood Drive near the Sea Pines Drive intersection.

Currently there is small detour for bike and pedestrian traffic as the existing bridge is being reconstructed.

Below is a map of the small detour for leisure trail traffic. Flagmen will be present to direct leisure trail traffic. If you have any questions regarding this project, please contact CSA Maintenance at 843.671.7849 or email: csamaintenance@csaseapines.com .
Milling and paving operations in proximity to Beach Walk #25 and #26
Maintenance will be executing milling and paving operations in proximity to Beach Walk #25 and #26 in the next few days, weather dependent. Flagmen will be present to direct traffic to assist with temporary lane closures. Expect minor traffic delays. Paving will also take place on the leisure trail adjacent to the bridges and the roadway during this time frame.

  • Ballots were mailed out on November 1, 2018.
  • Ballots should be postmarked for return by Dec. 1, 2018.
  • Ballots are distributed via postal mail and cannot be emailed.
  • If you need a replacement ballot, please email us at election@seapinescsa.com. Please include your first and last name, Sea Pines Property address and the mailing address in which you wish to receive your replacement ballot. Please allow 3-5 business days for your mailed replacement ballot to arrive.

Sea Pines Forest Preserve Bonfire Event

The 8 th Annual Sea Pines Forest Preserve Bonfire Event was held on Friday, November 9 th between rain fronts! Fortunately, nobody got wet while enjoying the fabulous food, entertainment and fellowship!

Thanks to all who attended and supported our Forest Preserve fundraiser with their presence.
