Maintenance Updates

Quarterly Flower Rotation

Flowers continue to be removed from CSA managed beds throughout the community this week to facilitate our quarterly flower rotation. The flowers are staged just to the east of the CSA Maintenance yard located at 4 Lawton Canal Road and are available to Sea Pines property owners on a first come, first serve, while supplies last.

Rye Grass Seeding Completed

Ocean Woods Landscaping has completed the process of seeding rye grass on many of CSA's managed high profile turf areas including Sea Pines Circle, Greenwood Gate, Ocean Gate, Lighthouse Road towards Harbor Town. In these areas there may be short spurts of day time watering.

Town of Hilton Head Island to Conduct Water Drainage Work on Spotted Sand Piper

The Town of Hilton Head will be making repairs to the storm water drainage system on Spotted Sand Piper. There will be some roadway excavation taking place and the Town noted the work would take approximately two weeks to complete, weather dependent. Pl ease be extra cautious in this area while the work is in progress.

Sea Pines Drive Timber Bridges Project Update

Phase One Nearing Completion

Sea Pines CSA Maintenance is nearing the completion of phase one of this project which consist of:

Two bridges spanning over the canal on South Sea Pines Dr. connecting the existing leisure trail to Beach Walk 25 (located between Snowy Egret and Black Skimmer- pictured here) and Beach Walk 26 (located between Surf Scoter and Snowy Egret-not pictured).

Stainless steel cables will be installed along these new bridges and asphalt work is scheduled.

Stamping of two crosswalks between the new pedestrian bridges and the existing Beach walks 25 and 26, to improve visibility of bike and pedestrian crossings is scheduled.

Phase Two Begins Next Week

Sea Pines CSA Maintenance will begin phase two of the Sea Pines Timber Bridges project the week of November 5 ^th with working hours for CSA Contractors between 7:00AM and 6:00PM.

In Phase two we will reconstruct the current pedestrian bridge that is located on Greenwood Drive near the Sea Pines Drive intersection.

During Phase two, CSA will have a small detour for bike and pedestrian traffic as the existing bridge is being reconstructed. Phase two will be completed in approximately 2 to 3 weeks, weather permitting.

Below is a map of the small detour for leisure trail traffic. Flagmen will be present to direct leisure trail traffic. If you have any questions regarding this project, please contact CSA Maintenance at 843.671.7849 or email: csamaintenance@csaseapines.com .

CSA & ASPPPO Board of Director Election Information

Ballots for the ASPPPO and CSA Board of Director Elections were mailed yesterday, Nov. 1^st.
Please allow 3-5 business days for your mailed ballot to arrive.
Ballots are distributed via postal mail and cannot be emailed.
Voting will close on December 1, 2018 and returned ballots must be postmarked by this date.

The Sea Pines Forest Preserve Bonfire Event

The event will feature a delicious Lowcountry inspired menu, live music and a limited silent auction.
