Maintenance Updates
Boardwalk Repairs

Repairs needed to Boardwalks #11 and #12, due to impacts from Hurricane Dorian, have been completed. A set of stairs (see photo) for boardwalk #12 had to be built given the current conditions of the dunes and proximity to the mean high tide line on the beach. We will continue to monitor conditions of the dune.

Repair work on Boardwalk #25 will begin the week of September 16, 2019. This project is expected to take 1 to 2 weeks, weather permitting.
Widening of the North Sea Pines Drive Leisure Trail

  • The North Sea Pines Drive Leisure Trail widening project has begun.
