The goals of this event are to recruit new faith communities to the work of ending mass incarceration, share ways that faith leaders can speak to its members about ending mass incarcerations and set in
motion an effort to build and strengthen the "spider web" of support for those who are and want to be engaged in this work.
Pastor Walter Lanier will give the Opening Prayer and Pardeep Singh Kaleka, executive director of the Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee will introduce the topic.
Rev. Katie Givens-Kime will moderate a panelist of Slyvester Jackson (Expo), David Liners (Wisdom), Lisa Jones (MICAH) and Rev. David Simmons (Episcopal Diocese of Milwaukee).
The Closing Prayer will be by Rev. John Vaughn, executive Pastor of the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia
