Outreach with UF and FMSEA
 
SeaKeepers partnered with Whitney Laboratory of Marine Bioscience at the University of Florida and FMSEA to conduct plankton sampling onboard D/Y Defiance.

Plankton Sampling with UF 

SeaKeepers and UF Researchers went offshore onboard D/Y Vigilante to sample plankton in West Palm Beach, FL. 



Scripps (UC San Diego) Partnership

 SeaKeepers is collaborating with Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego. This new agreement will utilize SeaKeepers yachts as research platforms as well as support Scripps Exploration at Sea. 
Yachts Miami Beach Scavenger Hunt

SeaKeepers held its annual drifter scavenger hunt during the Yachts Miami Beach boat show. Congratulations to our winner, Kristen Klein, and thank you to our sponsor, Fogo de Chao for providing our scavenger hunt prize. 

Broward Waterway 
Cleanup

Volunteer with SeaKeepers for the annual Broward County Waterway Cleanup on March 5 at John U. Lloyd State Park (Whiskey Creek). The cleanup will be followed by the Trash Bash Waterway party.

Local Educational Day Trips
 
SeaKeepers is seeking vessels to participate in educational day trips in SoFla. These trips bring community members and scientists together to further ocean conservation.

Coral Reef Research, Dominica

SeaKeepers is looking for a vessel to act as a home base in Dominica for a research project analyzing CO2-seeping vents in order to improve coral reef management.
