This year our alumni golf tournament committee, generated a record $114, 569.00 for Seabury Hall Athletics and Scholarships!  On behalf of the entire Seabury Hall Ohana, we would like to express our gratitude to Kaimanamalie Lee '03 Brummel, Chairwoman of the Golf Tournament, and tournament committee members Zadoc Brown '87, John Bendon '96, Lisa Judge, Ryan MacLaughlin '99, Caleb Palmer '90, and Robert Stoner '80, as well as prize committee members, Sara DePalma '92 Smith, Nicole Schindler '99 Gonzales, Francesca Cipro '99, and Renee Judd '99 Friend. This amazing community of Maui leaned in with 43 businesses as cash sponsors, 56 businesses donated prizes or auction items, 32 volunteers donated their time, and 132 golfers rose with the sun to support this event. The art of Demian Dressler '88 gains international attention at the Art Tour International awards! Until recently, Demian was best known for his work in the sciences - a veterinary surgeon and clinician. "A few years ago, nobody, including those who had known me for years, knew I was an artist. At this stage in my life I had accomplishments in other arenas, but was almost pathologically hesitant to share my art with anyone outside of those closest to me. To the world at large, my identity and mask was the intellect, writing a non-fiction book, developing a cancer therapeutic, doing veterinary surgery, all backed by an Ivy League Doctorate. But secretly and for decades, I worked on my art. And here, there was no armor of credibility, no fortress of to protect the vulnerability necessary for authentic creation."  His artwork has been exhibited in New York City, Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, Tokyo, Georgia and Hawaii.
