The Town has successfully completed essential slope stabilization and road reconstruction on Seacrest Place, ensuring long-term safety and reliable access for residents in the Eaglecrest subdivision.

This critical infrastructure project addressed significant ground movement caused by poor drainage, weak soils, and steep slopes that had developed over time. The reconstruction has stabilized the hillside using a mechanically stabilized earth retaining wall, upgraded underground utilities, and improved overall drainage to prevent future shifting.

In addition to the structural work, new guardrails and fresh paving now provide a safe and secure roadway for the 26 homes along Seacrest Place. These improvements safeguard not only the road itself, but also vital underground services, including water, stormwater, sanitary sewer, natural gas, electrical, and communication infrastructure.

This was a significant project that was completed on time and within its $2.586 million budget, marking an important investment in the stability and resilience of local infrastructure. The Town extends its thanks to nearby residents for their patience and cooperation during construction.
