Leadership Profile Overview

SAIS seeks a strategic, mission-driven thought leader with an entrepreneurial spirit who is approachable, collaborative, innovative, and committed to embracing and supporting the beautiful complexity of almost 400 unique member schools. The president leads a remote staff of nine located in multiple states plus an 20-member board of trustees that meets quarterly.

Interim Appointment

The SAIS Board of Trustees is also pleased to announce that it has appointed Executive Vice President Lori Spear as the acting president during the interim period starting July 1, 2023. Lori has been with SAIS since 2003 and has been a significant contributor to the growth of the organization over the past two decades.

 

During the interim period, Lori will have the support of board members and other industry experts to ensure that SAIS schools have continued support around crisis management, governance, legal issues, leadership challenges, and other matters related to school leadership. Further information on how to access those resources will be shared with members as the support network is formalized.

 

As we move ahead to the next chapter at SAIS, we are grateful for our strong professional staff, dedicated board, and engaged members.
