Danish Sangfest at Nordia House - May 20th at 2:00 pm
If you like to sing Danish songs, this is for you! You don’t have to speak Danish fluently to participate, but if you lived in Denmark, or grew up in a Danish family, you will probably enjoy singing the beautiful old songs again. If not, you may like to get to know more Danish songs. We have song sheets with many Danish songs for your use.
Our wonderful musician, Aage Nielsen, will accompany us, and he has a surprise for us this time: Aage bought a condo here in Portland, and he will be moving back to Portland very soon!
When we get tired of singing, we will enjoy a cup of coffee and some pastry together with old and new friends. If you are able to contribute some goodies, please respond.
We hope to see you at the sangfest. To assist in the planning, please RSVP to bodilmuller@mac.com or call 503-547-0161.

NWDA - Celebrating 100 Years! T-shirt Campaign on Bonfire
Help us celebrate the first hundred years while we look toward the next hundred!
Wear your support of NWDA with these special "One Hundred Years" shirts. Proceeds from each shirt will help support programs for all ages to continue to share Danish culture, traditions, and values in the PNW and beyond.
There are lots of different shirt and sweatshirt options and they are shipped directly to you!
Shirts are being printed "on demand" so you won't have to wait too long to show off your new threads. This means NWDA receives a little less per shirt sold due to processing and printing costs, however we want all who order to have their shirts as soon as possible. The first shirts have begun to arrive! It is currently taking about 10 days to arrive from the order date.
Please reach out to Emily Olsen with any questions: emily@nwdanish.org.
There is tax and shipping added to listed prices. A small amount of the listed price comes back to NWDA, Mange Tak! Shipping is $4.99 for the first item. Each additional item from the same campaign adds $2.50 shipping.
