Trick or Treat - The Liberty Theatre and Downtown Astoria

It's an Astorian tradition! Join businesses and residents from across the community for the annual Downtown Trick-or-Treat, brought to you by the Astoria Downtown Historic District Association. Gather the whole family, dress up, grab those trick or treat bags, and make your way through Astoria's downtown on Halloween Day from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Local businesses and organizations will be handing out candy and treats to little goblins and ghouls. Be sure to stop by the Liberty Theatre for spooky music from Clammy 99.7 and get candy from the first responders at Astoria Dispatch, APD and AFD.

The Pumpkin Drop!

Don’t miss the thrills of The Pumpkin Drop! A 1,000+ pound pumpkin will be dropped from a giant crane at the Turnaround into a pool full of squishy ducks & beavers which are available for purchase for $5. The mascot from each team that flies the farthest will win a cash prize.

Due to scheduling conflicts the Pumpkin Drop this year has been moved to Saturday, November 2nd.

Celebrating 20 years in 2024, Seaside First Saturday Art Walk is a free event in the Historic Gilbert District between Holladay & Broadway in downtown Seaside—courtesy parking at Holladay & Oceanway. Meet artists and see art.

Season's Shenanigans Art Exhibit

Trail’s End Art Association Gallery is excited to open a new exhibit In November featuring the art of Tj Lev, lovingly called Season’s Shenanigans! The artist's opening reception is on November 2nd, during the Gearhart ArtWalk from 2-5 pm. This show will be available for viewing at Trail’s End Gallery Fridays–Sundays, 11am–3 pm from November 1st through December 1st, 2024.

Operation Green Light

Clatsop County’s buildings will be illuminated green November 4 -11, 2024 as part of Operation Green Light for Veterans.

This national collaborative initiative of the National Association of Counties supports military veterans and raises awareness about unique challenges faced by many veterans and resources available at the county, state, and federal level to assist them and their families.

Fall Flag Disposal Service

The American Legion Post 99 in Seaside is once again providing its fall flag disposal service.

The Legion will host an event to collect flags for proper disposal on Sunday, November 10th. Starting at noon until 3pm volunteers and local Scout troop members will accept flags that are "unserviceable, tattered, faded, or worn."

Looking for a gift this Holiday? Look no further than the Seaside Artisan Fair! Over 80 vendors each year with a variety of handcrafted items from art, woodworking and photography as well as goodies such as fudge, truffles and toffee!
