What's coming in May: Spring? For most of you, spring has sprung, but here in northeastern Maine, it isn't here yet. We only have one daffodil!

We have two gem and mineral shows in May - Dover New Hampshire next weekend and Cherry Hill NJ at the end of the month. Dover will feature a lot of new material and we will have a bigger booth than we had in Portland. So if you are near Dover and can make the show, our booth should be pretty cool.

As far as online goes, we will be posting daily on Cabochons, Beads, and More. We will also post from our gem and mineral shows on both the cab group and on Seaside Stones - Online Rock Shop. Cab LIVE shows will be on the 2nd (IG), 3rd (FB), 16th (IG), 17th (FB), 23rd (IG) and 24th (FB). We will have one Thursday ROCKS! on May 21st (FB).

What happened in April: Besides getting back from NC and then heading to CT, NY (to see my aunt), and ME, we played catch up on online orders among other things. We are still behind on drilling and custom jewelry from the NC shows as well as the CT and ME shows. I wish I could say we had some fun, but other than hanging out with our neighbors once, we've been focused on getting caught up business-wise, personally, and on my aunt.

What was new in March? Oh so much! Personally, we added two spheres to our collection. We got in a lot of new carvings including bunnies, fish, ravens, seahorses, skulls, spiders, tigers, turtles, wolves, etc. Plus, super cool Copper, Chrysocolla, and Chalcedony and Purple Moss Agate. They were shown on last night's LIVE shows and will be headed our gem and mineral shows. We also got in a lot of new cabs including Fancy Jade, Stingray Jasper, Mountain Jasper, new Hackmanite, a new Rhyolite, etc. The cabs have been making an appearance on our LIVE shows and have or will be posted on Cabochons, Beads, and More.

A LOOK AHEAD TO JUNE AND JULY - In June, we do not have any gem and mineral shows, but will be taking some time off. In July, we have back to back shows in Oxford ME and Burlington VT, plus a show in Belfast ME. Remember to read your invoices so you know about shipping delays due to gem and mineral show travel.
