INVOICING AND SHIPPING DELAYS

What's coming in August: In August, Christmas in July on Cabochons, Beads, and More will wrap up. Grab them while you can...look for a last call post coming soon. Additionally, we have gem and mineral shows in Belfast ME (started yesterday, 7/31), West Springfield MA, and Concord NH.

With our significant travel, we've decided we like the streamlined invoice process, so we will continue sending new invoices only Tuesdays. Updated invoices will continue to go out as they are updated.

With the significant travel comes shipping and drilling delays. Orders are shipped (and drilled) in the order they are paid. Shipping will only occur between 8/5 and 8/10 and again 8/19 and 8/26. Orders with no drilling will be shipped first and we will drill orders as time permits. Remember to read the Travel Impact/E-Newsletter section of your invoice. We apologize for these delays. Unfortunately, most of our gem and mineral shows happen between July and November.

As always, we will be posting daily on Cabochons, Beads, and More. We will post teasers for the July Thursday ROCKS! on Seaside Stones - Online Rock Shop. Our LIVE shows will be as follows: Cabs on August 8th (IG), 9th (FB), 22nd (IG), and 23rd (FB). The Thursday ROCKS! we wanted to do in July didn't happen so we will try to have one on August 20th (FB).

What was new in July: Cab wise, we got new Bamboo Forest Jade, Carnelian natural edge, purple Petrified Wood. Carvings wise, the new ones we got in June finally got unpacked, but their debut is delayed until this month. However, the saber tooth tigers have already sold, and the two snakes are headed to Belfast so a customer can look at them. Lots of new cabs will finally make their way to Cabochons, Beads, and More in August.

What happened in July: It was a busy month with our birthdays and our anniversary, Christmas in July on Cabochons, Beads, and More, several LIVE shows, two gem and mineral shows (pic from our VT show is below), and my continuing family situation. We also had friends from PA in ME, so we had to have lunch with them! Plus, one of our customers was at the largest art/music festival in Washington County (where we live), so we had to go and see them. Besides all that it was work, work, work...thankfully we love what we do!

A LOOK AHEAD TO SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER - In September, we will be changing email providers. We have shows in Augusta ME, Danbury CT, and Poughkeepsie NY. In October, we have shows in Lancaster NH, Bristol CT, and Cranston RI. Remember to read your invoices, so you know about shipping delays due to gem and mineral show travel.

Online orders are subject to MAINE SALES TAX. If you have a resellers certificate or whatever your state calls it (state issued document, not the federally issued EIN document) and you haven’t sent us a copy, please email it to seasidestoneseastport@gmail.com.

TRAVEL IMPACT - We travel periodically for gem and mineral shows, usually from March through November. Please make sure to review the Travel Impact/E-Newsletter section of your invoice to know how our travel will impact shipping (and drilling).
