What's coming in July: July will be a busy month with Christmas in July on Cabochons, Beads, and More, two weekends of LIVE shows, maybe a Thursday ROCKS, and three gem and mineral shows (S. Paris ME, Essex Junction VT, and Belfast ME). With all of the above happening, we are making a couple of changes to invoicing. New invoices will go out on Tuesdays. Updated invoices will continue to go out as they are updated. ALL invoices created in July will have an updated info section to ensure all customers know how things work when buying from Seaside Stones. Even if you've been shopping with us for a while, please review so you are up to date with any recent changes.
Besides the three gem and mineral shows in July, we also have two shows in August. With all of this travel, shipping of orders and drilling will be affected. Please ensure that you read the Travel Impact/E-Newsletter section of your invoice.
As always, we will be posting daily on Cabochons, Beads, and More. We posted the recaps from the June Thursday ROCKS! and will post teasers for the July Thursday ROCKS! on Seaside Stones - Online Rock Shop. Our LIVE shows will be as follows: Cabs on July 4th (IG), 5th (FB), 25th (IG), and 26th (FB). We are planning to have one Thursday ROCKS! on July 23rd (FB).
What was new in June? The carvings we got in in May finally got air time as did the cabs we got in in June! New angels, dragons, elephants, kitties, owls, skulls, plus one bird and one horse were on June's Thursday ROCKS!. New 3 C's (cabs and earrings), Agatized Palm, Ammonites, Mountain Jasper, Peach Stick Agate, and Rhodonite were on our last cab LIVE show. New carvings also arrived in June, but they won't debut until July. The new cabs will make their way to Cabochons, Beads, and More after the July sales posts finish.
What happened in June: Our return from the Cherry Hill NJ show, which was in May, but we didn't get home until June 5th. We have decided that we will not be back at Cherry Hill in 2027...it is just too far to drive for one show in the area. Vacation in Prince Edward Island (PEI). which was AWESOME and very needed! June also included dealing with my aunt, enjoying the Maine weather (when it wasn't raining), catching up on everything Seaside Stones, getting ready for July, and tending our garden...the tomatoes and peppers are growing nicely. There is so much cilantro!!! I did make salsa, which we took to PEI. I also started playing with ChatGPT and creative two new versions of our logo. (Check out the gallery at the end of this e-newsletter for pics from PEI and of our new logos.)
