Before we dive into July, we want to first welcome our new followers from our shows in New Jersey and Connecticut. If this is your first e-newsletter, content changes, but our layout does not: what's coming up this month, last month's recap, highlights of what will be coming up in the next couple of months, and reminders of how we do things.

If it's July, it must be time for our annual summer sale, Christmas in July, on our Facebook group, Cabochons, Beads, and More (See LINKS and MORE below)! We only have one gem and mineral show this month - we will be returning to the Champlain Valley show in Essex Junction VT. We will try and be better about posting from show on both the cab group and on Seaside Stones - Online Rock Shop. We will be doing our Saturday and Sunday night LIVE shows on the three non-gem and mineral show weekends. We will be taking a break from Thursday ROCKS this month and next month. Since we only have one gem and mineral show this month, there will be delays to shipping (and drilling) and to customer service, but it should not be too bad.

June was a mix of being on the road for two shows and enjoying the comforts of home! At home, we alternated between spring and summer with record heat and chilly/rainy days...gotta love Maine! Our tomatoes, peppers, and cilantro seem to be happy though :-) What was new in June? White Maluka Eye Agate cabs...OMG! Aquaprase & Pinolith cabs...WOW! A new army of dragons, elephants, and owls...these amazing carvings are all one of a kind and are in various material (Grape Agate, Jade, Petrified Wood, various Jaspers, etc.). A LOOK AHEAD TO AUGUST - August has us in Belfast ME, W. Springfield MA, Concord NH, and Augusta ME. We have four shows over the five weekends in August; this means our response time to customer service requests will be longer than normal, there will be shipping delays throughout the month, and most drilling will not happen until September.

AND TO SEPTEMBER AND BEYOND - September has us in Poughkeepsie NY. October and November will be as crazy as August - in a seven-weekend period, we have six shows. Our full gem and mineral show schedule (at least the ones we are currently planning on doing can be seen here. We also create events for each show (once we have the contract) on our Facebook page.

TRAVEL IMPACT - We travel periodically from March through November. Please make sure to review the Travel Impact/E-Newsletter section of your invoice to know how our travel will impact shipping (and drilling).

HOW OUR INVOICES WORK: Invoices are due as per the information included on your invoice. Invoices can be left open if you are still shopping (max 30 days). If you pay your invoice, we assume you want us to ship. If you are still shopping, please leave your invoice open. Weekly reminders are sent, and a final reminder is sent at 30 days. Once an invoice hits 30 days, any new claims will be put on a future invoice which will be on hold until your current invoice is paid. Also, if your invoice is not paid per the final reminder, your order will be canceled. We do understand there are extenuating circumstances, so as the final invoice reminder says, please contact us if you need a few extra days, and we will try to work with you.

We do not insure packages when the invoice is less than $300; however, you can add OPTIONAL INSURANCE. If you want to add insurance, please use the tipping option on your invoice. For more information, you can read one of our older blog post here.

Online orders are subject to MAINE SALES TAX. If you have a resellers certificate or whatever your state calls it (different from a federal EIN) and you haven’t sent us a copy, please email it to seasidestoneseastport@gmail.com.
