New month / new changes - but only for International Customers

• International Customers - Effective March 15th will be adding a service fee of 1.5% to all non-US orders. Why? Because Square is adding the fee and we are passing it on. If you want to avoid the fee, contact us directly, as there are a couple of work arounds. …a little too complicated to explain in an email.

March: March has us on the road the whole month. We have three shows in North Carolina (Hickory, Gastonia, and Raleigh), plus a quick stop in NY to see my aunt on our way home. Even though we are on the road, we will be posting daily on Cabochons, Beads, and More. We will also post from our North Carolina shows, although we may limit sales at the first two shows since we cannot restock as much in between shows. We will not be shipping in March (if you are shopping with us, please make sure to read your invoice). Cab LIVE shows will be on the 12th. 19th, and 24th, internet permitting.


One housekeeping item - Last month we mentioned that we try to use the @everyone feature on our Facebook groups sparingly and that if you’ve turned it off you may be missing important updates. If you’ve unfollowed me (Theresa Peek), Chris Peek, or Seaside Stones, you also may be missing posts and important updates. Chris posts cabs everyday on Cabochons, Beads, and More. I try to remember to post under Chris’s name, but occasionally I forget. I may not be posting cabs, but I post about other jewelry making detashes, LIVE show teasers, news and information, etc.

On to the February recap! It was nice to be home ALL month! We managed to get caught up and even ahead on things. We were able to get back to a regular schedule with our LIVE shows and we got to show you all of the new cabs and carvings that had arrived. We also enjoyed lots of snow, watching our birds at our feeders, and even a little snowshoeing.

A LOOK AHEAD TO APRIL AND MAY - In April we have two shows, New Haven CT (a new show for us) and Portland ME. These shows are back to back and will include another short trip to NY to see my aunt. We will be traveling from the 9th through the 20th. We will catch up on shipping non-drilling orders between when we get home on April 3rd and when we leave on the 9th. When we get home on the 20th, we will catch up on drilling orders then catch up on shipping non-drilling orders that did not ship because of our April shows. In May we have two shows, Dover NH and Cherry Hill NJ. We will be home between these shows so there will be less delays in shipping and drilling. Remember to read your invoices so you know about shipping delays due to gem and mineral show travel.

Online orders are subject to MAINE SALES TAX. If you have a resellers certificate or whatever your state calls it (state issued document, not the federally issued EIN document) and you haven’t sent us a copy, please email it to seasidestoneseastport@gmail.com.
