The Silent Witness wins an Emmy

We are thrilled to share that our film The Silent Witness: A Survivor’s Story of Hiroshima won the 2024 News & Doc Emmy Award for Outstanding Short Documentary. As the only self-distributed film in the category, we’re especially proud of Life Stories’ win!

If you haven’t yet seen Tomiko Morimoto West’s powerful account of surviving the atomic bomb in Hiroshima, watch the film on the Life Stories website.

Celebrating Democracy with Life Stories Learning

Our team has curated a series of short videos from our past films and interviews on the foundational principles behind our democracy. They’re perfect for sparking classroom dialogue and reminding us of our role as Election Day approaches.
