Season 43 begins on Wednesday, September 9th, and we are thrilled to share our love of dance and community with you!

Dancers who are enrolled in fall classes will receive an email from StudioPro with our Handbook, which includes detailed information on dressing for class, the school year calendar, and other important information.

*Please contact the studio if you'd like to take advantage of paid-in-full discounts. The registration system defaults to the monthly tuition installment plan.

Portland Youth Dance (PYD) is the resident youth company at Casco Bay Movers, offering pre-professional dance training to dedicated dancers ages 10-18 years. PYD has three main tracks: Company, which focuses on modern, jazz, and contemporary forms; Crew, which focuses on hip hop forms; and PYD 2, an exploratory group geared toward dancers 10-18. PYD was founded in 1998 as an alternative to competitive dance and is a 501(c)(3) organization run by a volunteer Board of Directors. PYD’s robust community class program provides access to free/low-barrier dance classes. Learn more about PYD here.

Fall Drop-in Classes for Adults

Our fall drop-in schedule listed below officially begins on Wednesday, September 9th. During the break, we will offer Slow Intermediate Ballet with LarryLee from 9:30-11 am on Monday, Sepember 7th and Gyrokinesis with Sheila from 9:30-10:45 am on Tuesday, September 8th. $19/$17 for college students & seniors or a card punch.

Inter/Advanced Hip Hop with Jason Berube

Sunday, September 20 |11:30 am - 12:45 pm | $19/$17

Jason is a dance artist from Southern New England who has performed with New Kids On The Block at Fenway Park, and was featured in a music video for Jamez Martin. Jason is also on faculty with Turn It Up Dance Challenge, teaching at conventions throughout the country. He has trained with MOTUS The Company, directed by Diana Matos; He now currently trains and competes with Professional Hip-Hop crew LIV3LIHOOD at Thr3e Live Dance Complex. His classes and choreography are dynamic, challenging and exhilarating. Check out Jason's Instagram to see clips of his classes.

Inter/Advanced Theater Jazz with Christina Belinsky

Saturday, September 26, 9:30-11 am | $19/$17

Christina is a dancer, choreographer, film-maker, producer, and dance educator based in the Western Mountains of Maine. She is a graduate of Dean College with an A.A. in Dance and the Trustees Prize in Dance and the University of the Arts with a B.F.A. in Modern Dance Performance and the award for Most Outstanding Performance in Modern Dance. Her career spans many genres of dance from ballet to musical theater, concert dance to television and film. Professional regional theater credits include Irving Berlin's White Christmas, Mary Poppins, A Christmas Carol, Footloose, The Producers, Sweet Charity, Seussical: The Musical, Charlotte’s Web, and the NYC industry reading of "Woody: A New Fairytale". Christina has performed all over the US, Canada, Spain, Brazil, Russia, Israel, and Tokyo’s TheatreOrb with the International tour of The Aluminum Show (’10-’13 Dance Captain/Swing, ’25 Tour Producer), the National tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Dance Captain/Swing) directed and choreographed by Tony-Award-winner Andy Blankenbuehler, and the 1st Broadway National Tour of Finding Neverland (Ensemble/ Peter Pan cover) directed by Diane Paulus with choreography by Mia Michaels.
