On This Spot Launches Season Three:

The Lower East Side!

On This Spot is thrilled to announce the launch of fifteen new documentary shorts, currently available to watch online. Our third season focuses on trailblazing women artists such as Lee Bontecou, Martha Diamond, Nancy Graves, Grace Hartigan, Eva Hesse, Maya Lin, Kate Millett, Pat Passlof, Adrian Piper, Kiki Smith, Mildred Thompson and Susan Weil. As well as members of influential collectives like CoLab, Godzilla, Jazz Lofts, and performance artists at The Kitchen.  

On This Spot at 65 Allen Street

In collaboration with Leroy Street Studio, a street-front exhibition features a series of our most recent videos. Displayed in the window, the exhibition presents continuous screenings highlighting the neighborhood’s rich history through site-specific storytelling that immerses viewers in the city’s living memory.
