FEATURE: Bird Decline Series

I have a throwback for you! Mark Jacobs (producer of the Forests and Carbon and the Local Forest History series) produced the Bird Decline series last year. There are five episodes, each examining the issue from a different lens. I've been binging the series while doing housework, and it's been fascinating. As a relatively new birder, much of the information is new to me; I hope you can learn something too!

SARAH'S RECOMMENDATION

Beautiful art. Good science. Engaging writing. What more could I ask?

My wife and I just got the "Botanicum" book as a gift for a friend, and we deeply regret not getting one for ourselves. The art is captivating, and we can't stop paging through it! We're treasuring our week with the book until we reluctantly pass it on.

It's part of a series, covering anatomy, fungi, dinosaurs, outer space, and more. There's a book for everyone!

Enjoy!
