I took a moment to reflect back on the year and what was making me grateful last week. Listen if you'd like and then I hope you'll find time to reflect on what you are grateful for and capture it in some way!

Spotlight on Business Edge

Laura Crothers Osborn was interviewed for a recent article in the Morris County Chamber of Commerce's Business Edge, "Human Resources Adapts to a New World."
Check out the article on page 19 in which the HR shift from focusing on the business to the employee is explored.

Celebrating Team Crothers

Celebrating our great team is another thing we're thankful for!
On this occasion we feted (from left) Isabelle Brennan (Director of Client Success), Lori Orrico (Office Manager), and Annette Matheney (Senior Consultant, Trainer & Coach) on their fall birthdays.

Our November blog has truly resonated with our readers - we have received a lot of positive feedback about its focus on gratitude.
One of our readers noted, "It was heartfelt, poignant and really centering for me."

If you missed it, please take a moment to read Office Manager Lori Orrico's reflections on her experience with this powerful force.
"(Gratitude is at) its most powerful when it’s of a higher order, meaning that we are able to appreciate our struggles."

Grateful to Support Local Organizations
Since our beginnings in 2010, Crothers Consulting has committed to supporting community initiatives. Because of the trust you, our clients, have placed in us, we continue to support impactful organizations every month with part of our profits.
For November we are supporting three organizations:
Impact 100 Garden State was inspired by a growing national trend in women’s collective giving where one woman’s donation, joined with many others’, results in the ability of awarding life-changing grants to local nonprofits.
Our friend, Ina Rose, CEO Passion for People, recently ran her 34th marathon in Indy with a charity fundraiser.
We support Ina and her charity of choice: The Colorectal Cancer Alliance. They empower a nation of allies who work with them to provide support for patients and families, caregivers, and survivors; to raise awareness of preventive measures; and inspire efforts to fund critical research.
We also bought and donated food to the local Table of Hope food distribution program that happens on Friday - if you are local to Randolph, NJ, and have an interest in donating food items, check the list here (they are accepting donations through tomorrow, Thursday).
