Jackson Brings Joy With Toys

Thank you to Ocean Bank and FPL for sponsoring our holiday toy drive, and for helping make big miracles happen for our littlest patients.

We also appreciate all of our donors and volunteers who helped put a smile on a child’s face this holiday season.

The culmination of the drive was on December 20th with a wrap-a-thon celebration, but you can still support our pediatric patients, by clicking below to donate.

Donor Highlight: Bank of America

A special thank you to Bank of America for its generous $250,000 grant supporting Jackson Memorial Hospital's Emergency Department Care Transition Program. This pivotal program seeks to reduce recidivism by addressing contributing factors to emergency department overutilization. Dedicated staff facilitates coordination of primary care services, helps monitor medication adherence, and follow-up care visits to medical specialists. Our Adaptive Golf Clinic was "Tee-rific"

Jackson Health Foundation extends a special thank you to the Adaptive Golf Association (AGA), and the volunteers and mentors for creating a “tee-rific” experience at our Adaptive Golf Clinic, held at the Rick Smith Golf

Performance Center.

The AGA program provides participants with cognitive and physical disabilities the chance to play and learn the game of golf while benefiting from the many therapeutic values it provides. We're excited to see our rehabilitation patients participate in these great recreational therapy opportunities. A big thank you to the Rick Smith Golf Performance Center for hosting this fantastic event!

Tito’s Vodka Golf Tournament

On Monday, October 24, Tito’s Vodka hosted the Tito’s Stillhouse Invitational to benefit the Adaptive Golf Program at Christine E. Lynn Rehabilitation Center for The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis at UHealth/Jackson Memorial. The event garnered support from hundreds of golfers. Kelly Messett, a certified therapeutic recreation therapist at Lynn Rehabilitation Center, spoke to the participants about the impact recreational therapy programs have on our patients. We thank Tito’s Vodka for their generous gift, and look forward to this continued partnership.
