Dear Friend of the U.S. Army Women’s Foundation,,
|
|
As this year comes to a close, we remain grateful for the U.S. Army Women’s Foundation (AWF) community and our allies for supporting our important mission. As we advance to 2022, we ask for your support to honor our women Veterans. We would like to share a part of what we have accomplished in 2021. We hope it inspires in you the sense of pride we feel as we strive to fulfill our mission to honor, empower and connect Army women.

Scholarship Programs
Since 2008, AWF has awarded $543,850 through our Legacy Scholarship Program and changed the lives of Army women and Army women veterans. Our 2022 Scholarship Program goal is to award $53,000. We ask for your support to help Army women, Army women veterans, and their children to continue their education and empower their future.

Leadership Symposium
We were honored to have the Secretary of the Army, The Honorable Christine E. Wormuth, at our October 2021 Leadership Symposium. In addition, our program featured a tribute to the 6888th Central Directory Postal Battalion, and panels on “Transitioning from the Army to the Public/Private Sector”, and “Why I Serve”. The event was a resounding success, and we are already planning for our 2022 Leadership Symposium, which will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022 at AUSA.
