Wheaton BHHS Chicago Donates $2,000
to People’s Resource Center

Wheaton office of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Chicago and the firm’s philanthropic arm, the Kindness Foundation, announced they will donate $2,000 to the People’s Resource Center this month. The money is part of a $40,000 pool to be donated to local food pantries in place of the company’s annual holiday party. The Wheaton office chose to support People’s Resource because it brings DuPage neighbors together to respond to hunger and poverty. Nearly 26,000 DuPage residents rely on PRC for help each year.

Joe Stacy, senior vice president, general sales manager, Kindness Foundation chairman and managing broker of the Wheaton office, said, “People’s Resource Center does such important work offering nutritious food options for DuPage neighbors. With the COVID-19 pandemic, there are so many people who need assistance. We are pleased to be able to assist them with this donation of $2,000 to assist them with their important work.”
