Season's Greetings from
The Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba
Greetings from Tara Brousseau Snider, Executive Director

At this time of year we are extremely grateful to our many volunteers who give of themselves so that the MDAM office can stay open throughout the holiday season. People are not alone thanks to the kind and gracious staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers at MDAM. Through peer support and self-help that we provide, individuals will gain greater understanding and knowledge in their own healing and recovery journey.
Thank you to our many funders and donors this year. As a result, we had over 95,000 contacts with Manitoban's last year. We are grateful to the Minister of Health, United Way, Bell MTS, Upside Down Tree, Andrew Dunn Org, Andrew and Lisa Paterson, and Rotary West for our specialized programming which delivers Outreach programs to Manitoban's living with mental health and addictions concerns.
May this Holiday bring comfort to all of you.

Greetings from Pamela Mann, Board Chair

Our very warmest wishes to you as you celebrate with your friends and families for the holidays! At MDAM this season of gift giving is a wonderful time to say thank you to all our supporters for each and every gift given to us.  We are so very grateful for the generosity that we receive throughout the year as we turn your gifts into gifts of hope and healing for those affected by life’s mental health challenges. We strive to reduce the stigma of mental health issues and addiction, and encourage acceptance, understanding and kindness for all people as the unique individuals we all are. And this holiday season, as in the past, we are open every day including Christmas and New Years Day, staffed by our dedicated caring compassionate volunteers. On behalf of all of us at MDAM, a big heart-felt thank you for your generous support!
As we near the winter solstice and the daylight become longer each day, we look forward to the new year when we will have new initiatives to help us reach more people in need, and we will have new programs, courses and help for those struggling with addiction. Please watch for our exciting new updates in the new year!
On behalf of the board with gratitude and best wishes,

Whatever holiday you celebrate this season, we wish you and your families, much joy and friendship, fellowship and kindness
and the very happiest New Year!
