The weather is warming (finally), flowers are blooming and more options to fly RNO are here. Midwest and East Coast seasonal nonstop routes are back for the summer and the perfect gift for your favorite mom this Mother's Day.

Available June through the first week of September*:

- New York (JFK) is back on JetBlue Airways.

- Minneapolis (MSP) returns on Delta Air Lines and Sun Country Airlines.

- Chicago (ORD) is offered again on United Airlines.

Our Air Service Development Team is pursuing new nonstop routes with help from our community partners. With 20+ nonstop destinations and 11 airlines offering a blend of legacy, low-cost and ultra low-cost carriers, you can find a variety of routes and options at RNO. *Seasonal route end dates are subject to change.

A Busy Mother’s Day Weekend

Parking: This time last year, our parking team was assisting 500+ travelers with overflow parking options each weekend (surpassing 600 overflow spots on Mother's Day Weekend). We’re expecting similar travel trends this year, so if you plan to park at RNO, be sure to give yourself extra time to find a spot.

We encourage you to use our real-time parking availability feature before heading to the airport.

Passenger Pick-Up: Please use the Free Waiting Lot and do not park and wait for your arriving party along the curb. Recent construction moved passenger pick-up and drop-off operations to the outside three lanes closest to the parking garage. With limited space and increased demand, we want to remind motorists that the front curb is for active loading and unloading.

Here’s the scoop on the Free Waiting Lot – it costs you nothing and is only a four-minute drive to the terminal. The lot leads you right onto the airport loop road for passenger pick-up.

RNO had a high-performing first quarter, in fact, it was the best first quarter we've had in 15 years. We are continuing to look at travel trends and projections to serve approximately 4.7 million passengers this year and keep up with our growing passenger demand.

- On display until July 26: The 15th Annual Employee Art Show. Airport employees and their families submitted works of art ranging from amateur to professional. View in our depARTures Gallery on C Concourse.

- RNO’s triannual safety and operations exercise is Wednesday, May 24. The traveling public will not be affected by the exercise but may witness training activities.
