Chamber Director Stepping Aside

The Executive Director of the Lake City Chamber of Commerce, Ed Hoffman, announced his intent to step aside, effective December 1, 2022.

Bob Kill to Speak

Lake The Lake City Chamber of Commerce, Lake City Port Authority, and Workforce Development, Inc. welcome Bob Kill, President and CEO of Enterprise Minnesota, with his presentation "The State of Manufacturing" to the manufacturer's appreciation luncheon on October 27th at Port 104.




Haunted Hok Si La

Are you ready for a real Halloween scare? Have you watched all the Friday the 13th movies? Do the woods at night kind of freak you out, but you kinda like it? It seems that an old, broken down and haunted carnival and circus has been discovered on the trail at Hok Si La Park. Come join us for a tour, if you dare in the beautifully spooktacular Hok Si La Park from 6-9pm!

Youth Tour Local Manufacturers

As part of Minnesota Manufacturing Month, students toured four Lake City facilities on October 19th, 2022.

Over 30 students from Lake City’s Lincoln High School got to see what life is like on the job at Ardent Mills, Hearth and Home Technologies, Acrotech, and Valley Craft. They were greeted with presentations, in-depth tours, and even goodies such as baseball hats and water bottles by the Lake City employers!

Fall Fish Frys at the Sportsman's

Mark your calendar! It's almost time for some Fall Fish Frys! The Sportman's Club will be heading back indoors this November for indoor seating! Park in the lot and come on in to join the fun. Once you get your food downstairs, you can enjoy seating upstairs or downstairs. Both bars will be open.

The Downtown Lake City retailers are reviving a Halloween tradition this year as Trick or Treat on Washington Street returns after 2 years on the shelf due to COVID.

Bring your kids and costumes downtown on October 31st from 5-7pm for some fun!
