THIS WEEK AT SEASONS

Repairs and Maintenance

  • Two large potholes were repaired by the roundabout coming into the community, pics attached.
  • Cobwebs at the clubhouse entryway were removed
  • The pavilion was pressure washed.
  • Paint colors & schemes are now up on website - please check those for ARC application assistance and guidance
  • Fountain vendor is aware of the fountain issues behind Sanibel Sands

Drop Box

There is now a drop box outside the HOA office if you have forms or documents you'd like to drop off when the office is closed.

Treadmill

The "broken" treadmill is now working at the fitness center. The power switch in the back was just turned off for some reason. If ever not working in the future, check the power switch to be sure it is really broken.

Gate Damage

Camera footage is pulled whenever a gate repair is needed due to damage by people and cars - if you break it, expect to pay for it!

If there is a gate malfunction, please contact the Vesta after hours number FIRST.

Seasons HOA Board Priorities

  • Evaluating and stabilizing the resources at Seasons
  • Focusing on turnover activities
  • Developing policies and procedures
  • Auditing financials and contracts
  • Improving safety and security
  • Developing our community's committees - interested in joining one? Let us know
  • Addressing maintenance and repairs that cannot be postponed until the developer or builder has the opportunity to resolve them, such as gate operations, integrity of pool / spa facilities, and other common area issues

These tasks are crucial for the well-being and functionality of our community. As such, and with the support of the community association management team, the Board is acting in the best interest of all residents to expedite their resolution.

Once these priorities have been successfully addressed, we will revisit the discussion surrounding cell service and other property improvements. Until such time as these other priorities are addressed appropriately, other discussions have been tabled.

Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns about any issue at any time; direct communication is the best way to get accurate information.

Vesta Town Hall

January 9

6:00 - 8:00 pm

Seasons at Bonita Amenity Center

Vesta will be hosting a town hall for residents in the community. Residents and owners may be new to Florida Homeowners Associations and have questions. Attend this meeting to learn how Management and Boards work together in communities.

Samie Mannina, Vesta's Regional General Manager, is holding this meeting to address concerns, answer questions, and manage expectations for the Board and Management as well as other vendors.

  • Agenda formats
  • Florida Statute 720 requirements
  • What is the Board function and what is Management function?
  • What requires Board votes and what requires Resident votes?
  • Pool policies

Bring your questions!

More information and add this to your calendar here.

HOA Board Meetings

Board meetings are the only time the elected volunteers may have a working session, where Board discussions and decisions are made.

These meetings are not town halls, though community announcements and comments are included as the final agenda item.

By Florida Statute, remarks must be limited to items on the published meeting agenda:

720.303 2(b) Members have the right to attend all meetings of the board. The right to attend such meetings includes the right to speak at such meetings with reference to all designated items.

HOA board members always make decisions in the best interests of the community in adherence to statutory requirements as well as fiduciary duties and legal authority.

Florida Statute 720 and the Seasons at Bonita governing documents are an excellent source of information regarding Board powers and authority.

Do you have a question or comment for the Board? Please reach out at any time!

Looking for Forms?

Seasons policies and procedures have yet to be fully developed following the turnover from developer to owner control. Forms and processes will be revised as part of the the transition work.

Rental sites and online forums are being monitored and all violations are addressed.

Do Not Feed Wildlife

  • Feeding of Alligators and Crocodiles in Florida is illegal. Statute 372.667 makes it a misdemeanor to feed Alligators or Crocodiles.
  • Feeding of alligators causes them to lose their natural fear of humans. They associate humans with food, and if another human comes along and doesn’t have food, they may attack that person (especially if it is a little person).
  • When you feed alligators, it causes the alligators to lose their natural fear of humans and to associate humans with food. Normally, alligators will avoid humans. But if an alligator has been fed by humans, they will be more likely to move toward humans and could potentially become aggressive.
  • For more information about living with alligators visit the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission page
  • It is also illegal to feed Black Bears, Racoons, Foxes and Sandhill Cranes – Florida Statute 68A-4.001 makes it a misdemeanor for feeding of these animals.
  • The best practice concerning any of Florida’s wildlife is to enjoy viewing them, but let them find their food naturally.

Pet Reminders

*Pick up pet's waste and dispose of it at your home.

*The Dog Park has 2 sides, one for larger dogs( left side) and the other for smaller dogs under 30 pounds (right side). Please be sure you are going to the correct side when using the park and shut the doors on your way IN and OUT of the park.

*The parking spaces at the dog park are to be used for the park only - this is not overflow parking for guests or residents.
