The past year and a half has been a tremendous time of personal growth and awareness for me. Since the summer of 2018, God has continually used the transition from 33 years in Corporate America into full-time ministry with Wellspring Group to both encourage and challenge me. He has exposed protective strategies that worked very well for me in the business world, that are counter-intuitive in a ministry environment. God has also used this past year to allow me to
full-time ministry. As I have experienced
ministry in Battle for Your Heart events, Bible studies, and small group engagements with Wellspring Group, Oak Mountain Presbyterian Church (OMPC) and others, I have felt most alive. I have felt God’s pleasure.
In recent months I’ve sensed God calling me to take yet another leap of faith by launching a personal ministry. This transition in personal ministry will allow me to offer even more teaching, facilitating, creating, sharing, and discipling of men on a day to day basis while still staying connected to the Battle for the Heart process and Wellspring Group, OMPC and others.
As I mentioned in one of my last calls with the Wellspring staff, I have never experienced this level of authenticity and encouragement in another team environment. What I’ve experienced as a part of this team has been truly special. I am so grateful for the love and support I have felt as I transitioned onto staff and now as I am transitioning off of staff. I see this transition as if Wellspring Group is spawning a new ministry; like a daughter-church being established from the mother church – it’s just another way this ministry has impacted the kingdom.
