Giving celebrates philanthropy in the community and honors women who are outstanding role models for giving to others in Medina County. 
Our recent grant to the Recovery Center of Medina County has helped expand art therapy programs to women and children who have a family member recovering from addiction.
From our grant application deadline on March 1 to our Seasons of Giving event on June 13 –  the Medina County Women's Endowment Fund is busy helping women and children throughout Medina County.
It’s one thing to write a $100 check to your favorite charity, but imagine supporting it forever through an endowment fund.  Through our Legacy Tree of Giving campaign, a pledge of $1,200 a year (only $100 a month) can help us continue our growth and commitment to women and children in Medina County.

Upcoming Events
Through the month of February, MCWEF is accepting grant applications for programs that improve the quality of life for women and children in Medina County. This year, we will again concentrate a large portion of our funding on a single grant that will make a significant impact in the community. This year’s impact grant will focus on local programs that empower and enable women or girls under the age of 25. If you have a nonprofit organization that supports these areas in Medina County, apply online by March 1 at  www.akroncf.org/applyMCWEF .
