There are currently no Covid precautions being followed. Individuals are encouraged to follow precautions that are best for them.

Pastor Tim's Thursday Noon Bible Study  is in the Fireside Room (Library) at 12:00 p.m. on Thursdays. We are looking at the book of Ruth as an example of protest literature.

VOLUNTEER MINISTRY CENTER - CASWELL MANOR 

Caswell Manor will be VMC’s second permanent supportive housing site with 48 one-bedroom apartments each with a private kitchen and bathroom. Permanent supportive housing works to solve chronic homelessness. Caswell Manor will build on the success of Minvilla Manor to place more people in permanent, stable housing. VMC and its community partners will offer all the necessary services to ensure a positive, lasting, cost-effective outcome.

New residents will need essential housekeeping items listed below as they move into their new apartments.

Bins are in the Atrium for donation drop-off. Donated items should be new.

COME, JOIN US FOR DINNER AND PASTOR TIM’S SABBATICAL REPORT on Wednesday, October 19th. We will gather in the Fellowship Hall at 6:00 p.m. for dinner. Fried chicken will be provided and everyone is asked to bring a side dish or dessert to share. At 6:30 p.m., Pastor Tim will give a presentation on what he did and some of what he learned on his sabbatical. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and have a discussion at the end. All are invited!

If you like to shop, this month (October) , the FISH Pantry mission is in special need of the following household and personal items:

* Shampoo 

* Dish Soap

Our once-a-month FISH team receives phone call requests for food and these additional items; they are then sorted, packed, and delivered to each client's household.

All donations should be newly purchased, and any quantities would be greatly appreciated.
