Join Our Free Running Clinic

Friday, September 16th
Optimus is proud to be hosting this free clinic for a third year! The clinic focuses on basics and performance for lower extremity amputees wanting to improve their running skills. Paralympic gold medalist Grace Norman will be there to provide instruction for experienced amputee runners who want to improve their technique. Gait specialist and physical therapist, Andrea Kinsinger from Optimus Prosthetics will be there to provide training for those interested in beginning running. In addition, Kendra Herber, amputee, author, model, and triathlete will also be present participating in the running clinic and presenting signed copies of her book, “Whole: A Leg Up On Life”. You can get more details on our website and access registration.
AmputeeSupport Group

We need your input!
As always, Optimus is looking for ways to further help and support our patients throughout their amputee journey. One area we would like to explore is hosting amputee support groups at the local Optimus offices. Groups would potentially meet once a quarter in the evenings after the workday. The time would be fun and interactive with activities such as putt putting, bowling, potlucks, and motivational and educational speakers. However, we need your feedback! Let us know… would you potentially attend?
Would you be interested in attending a support group at your local Optimus Office?
