Starting August 16, the UIS Help Desk will operate from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. If the desktop computer at your campus workspace has not been used since March 2020, it has likely not had an operating system upgrade or security patch since that time. Starting August 19, new and returning students will move into their on-campus residences. To help provide a smooth process for students and families, please consider volunteering. All volunteers must be fully vaccinated or have prior approval to be on campus, and complete their arrival test prior to coming to campus to support move-in. If you are interested in volunteering, please check with your supervisor before signing up for a shift.

If you are a parking pass holder at the main campus or medical center and you do not need to be on campus during move-in days, please consult with your supervisor in order to telework on those days, if possible. If you are coming to campus August 19-23, please use the GUTS bus or public transportation. Please note that Canal Road NW will be closed for outbound traffic August 19-20 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
