As we approach the last ten nights of Ramadan, we would like to share the good news that our Dar-us-Salaam Hifzh School Graduate Br Hamzah Elhabashy has placed second in the world representing the United States at the Dubai International Quran Competition Allahu Akbar!
The Dubai International Quran Competition features contestants from throughout the world and is considered by many to be the one of the most competitive in the world with the competition granting the First, Second and Third place winners over $163,000 in combined prize money.
Br Hamzah had to compete nationally in order to win a chance to represent the United States at the 19th Dubai International Quran Competition. MashAllah
