Announcements

AG Bell Learning Experience and Adventure Program (LEAP)

WHERE: VIRTUAL


LEAP is a fun, FREE virtual program that will help teens gain confidence in virtual

environments, develop stronger self-advocacy skills, and connect them with new

friends from across the globe.


Teens will learn more about themselves and their strengths from the Clifton Strengths Assessment, an assessment tool that has been used by more than 26 million people worldwide!


Space is limited to 50 teens per session and sessions fill up fast, so don’t wait!

Session 2: March 6, 2022


Session 3: May 6-7, 2022

Session 4: 8-9, 2022

AG Bell Leadership Opportunities for Teens (LOFT)

WHERE: WASHINGTON, D.C.


LOFT is a four-day sleep-away program designed for students to develop or

strengthen skills in individual leadership, teamwork, group dynamics,

communication, and self-advocacy.


LOFT builds connections, respect, and camaraderie among teens who share a

common bond. This is a great opportunity for high school and college-bound teens

interested in an enlightening and confidence-building experience away from

home with their peers. Communication Access Real-time Translation (CART) and a

sound field system are provided during classroom sessions. LOFT counselors are

AG Bell members who are adults living with hearing loss.


SESSION DATES


Session 1: July 24-28, 2022


Session 2: July 30-August 3, 2022


Applications will be accepted from December 10 to February 25.
