Section 609 Certification Prep & Test - Friday, May 19th
All technicians opening the refrigeration circuit in automotive air conditioning systems
 must be certified in refrigerant recycling and recovery procedures to be in compliance with Section 609 of the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990. The Mobile Air Conditioning Society (MACS) onsite training and certification program consists of an audio-visual presentation of EPA approved recovery and recycling procedures, distribution of the MACS certification training manual followed by a 25-question, closed book test.
