Section Scouter (Leader) - Volunteer Job Description
Purpose: The purpose of a Section Scouter (formerly Leader) is to assist youth with the planning and execution of great, safe, scouting adventures.

Accountable To: Group Commissioner

Time Required: Minimum of 10 to 15 hours per month and 3-4 weekends* per year (* on average). Section Scouters will have a commitment to attend weekly Section meetings (approx 1.5 hours) as well as any other activities outside of regular meeting times.

Positions Include:
  • Colony Scouter (Beavers, ages 5-7)
  • Pack Scouter (Cubs, ages 8-10)
  • Troop Scouter (Scouts, ages 11-14)
  • Company Scouter (Venturers, ages 15-17)
  • Crew Scouter (Rovers, ages 18-26)
