Greetings!

We hope this finds you safe and warm. The Boulder community is struggling in so many ways right now and your support has been crucial to the success of Garden To Table (and many other local nonprofits) as we continue to do what we can to help. We are committed to providing abundant gardens, educational resources and outdoor learning spaces for children in Boulder Valley School District. You can help secure the future of school gardens with a donation today. Stay safe out there, friends!

Warmly,
The Garden To Table Team

We're hiring!
We are seeking a new Executive Director, someone that is passionate about hands-on learning, school/community partnerships, and gardening as a pathway to personal, community and environmental health and wellness.
Growing You! Book Review and Literacy Activities
The main character of this beautifully poetic and wonderfully illustrated book is not a person but rather a thing-- the moon! The Harvest Moon, to be exact, which happens each autumn. Share this book and these activities with your young ones to celebrate the season!
Big Shout-out to the Boulder Evening Optimist Club
We'd like to thank the Boulder Evening Optimist Club for their third season in a row of financial support and monthly contributions of volunteer time! Spring, summer and fall, our Optimist friends bring love and green thumbs to every garden they visit. Optimist Clubs participate in community service programs that are dedicated to bringing out the best in kids. For more information about joining, contact coordinator Marysia Mycielski marysiam2@yahoo.com.
Fall Lessons Available on Video
Our Program Team has created video lessons and worksheets for teachers and parents to use at home to teach our curriculum. All of our lessons (PreK-5) are available now in English and Spanish.

Additionally, E-Movement has created an eeVirtual Learning Database of environmental science lessons from a wide range of community partners.
6,500+ pounds to local food banks!
Garden winterizations are almost complete. We want to thank the volunteers that came out to help such as the Zelinskaya family that has been maintaining the garden at Coal Creek Elementary all summer and introducing their son to the joys of gardening.

This effort to use school gardens to address food insecurity during the pandemic has strained our budget. You can help us cover these costs with a donation to our Food For Families Campaign.

Our gift to you is our Home Garden Resource Guide with instructions on how to winterize your own garden and much, much more.
A message from our Executive Director
Greetings GTT Friends,

I want to let you know that the past 4 years leading Garden To Table have been so rewarding - we have a great team, a great program, and have accomplished great success over my tenure. But I have made the decision to pass the baton sometime in the next few months. Thank you so very much for your support - our impact in the community is due to the strong support we have from you. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know and partner with many of you. Please share this job announcement with anyone you think may be ready to take GTT to the next level.

Wishing you good health!
Lisa Atallah, Executive Director
